Myco Éire is the only producer of functional and speciality mushrooms in Ireland grown from 100% Irish substrates.

We at Myco Éire are passionate about mycology and silviculture, which gives us a broad understanding of the bioaccumulative properties of both and how that in turn relates to tree mushrooms in general, and especially toward functional mushroom concentrates.

Our focus on the production of functional and speciality mushroom-related products is centred around the health and wellbeing of our customers. That is why, for us, substrate selection is just as, if not more, important as strain selection. We produce 100% of our own substrates, carefully selected from our ever-expanding stand of Atlantic Temperate Rainforest.

Located on the Atlantic fringes of the island of Ireland in County Donegal and touched only by the oceanic climate that it affords, Myco Éire’s sustainably harvested hardwood substrate and growing environment are free from the pollutants of heavy industry. We believe this makes our product globally unique and gives our customers the reassurance of peace of mind.
